After graduating from Brown University in 1991, Melissa Levis, has become the songstress of high society. In the past six years, Melissa has created a niche business writing and performing custom songs for corporate events, charity fund-raisers, and private parties. Her client list reads of such bold faced names as Peggy Siegal, Jonathan Tisch, The UJA, and VOGUE magazine. Her tribute songs are so popular, she has been imported to sing Custom Songs® at events in Aspen, Palm Beach, the Hamptons and Beverly Hills. |

Melissa began writing Custom Songs® for weddings and special events at her parents' country inn, The Wilburton Inn, in Manchester Village, Vermont. At Brown University, Melissa wrote Custom Songs® for visiting trustees and distinguished lecturers. In 1996, Melissa took the Hamptons by storm with her band of singing CEOs, "Melissa & The Moguls." Their "Ooh La La Hamptons!" CD climbed the charts to become the most requested song of summer on Hamptons' radio - second only to the Macarena. Melissa has been writing and singing Custom Songs® in New York City since 1994. "They are the ultimate crossword puzzle challenge," she says. "You take the highlights of a person's life - from childhood adventures to corporate coups and family legends - and condense it all in a five-minute song. What's more, it all has to rhyme." |
